    • Explain why plants disprese their seeds around rather than allowing them to drop on the floor around them.
    Because if all the seeds grow right next to the plant they will have to fight for the sun rays for photosynthesis.
    • Give examples of different ways that different plants disperse their seeds
    Beans expload when they get to big, and blueberries get animals and birds to eat them so when they excrete it grows from where they excrete .
    • State the conditions seeds require before they germinate


Pollination -

Pollination is the transfer of pollen grains from the anther of one flower to the stigma of the other. It may happen when an insect such as a bee goes from flower to flower. Pollen sticks to the bee and gets carried from one flower to the next and ends on the stigma. Pollination can also happen when wind blows pollen about and gets caught on the stigma.

Fertilisation -

Fertilisation happens when the nucleus of the male sex cell (pollen grains) joins with nucleus of the female sex cell (egg cell) . In plants, fertilisation happens after pollination. The nucleus of the pollen grain and the nucleus of the egg cell join to produce a fertilised egg cell.
